Crack, Ground & Grow: A Nature-Based Grounding & Geode Experience
Join Rooted & Rising Wellness Corporation for an interactive outdoor wellness experience designed to bring together nature, mindfulness, creativity, and discovery.
At Crack, Ground & Grow, participants will crack open their own geode, discover the crystals hidden inside, and take part in a guided grounding experience that encourages slowing down, connecting with the present moment, and noticing what is beneath the surface.
What to Expect
Crack Your Own Geode
Experience the excitement of cracking open your very own geode and discovering the unique crystals inside. Just like each geode is different, each experience of discovery is uniquely your own.
🌿 Grounding in Nature
Slow down and reconnect with your surroundings through a guided, nature-based grounding practice using your senses and present-moment awareness.
✨ Reflect & Discover
Take a moment to reflect on the experience and explore the connection between what we discover within a geode and what we may discover within ourselves.
🌱 Community & Wellness
This experience is open to community members of all ages! We welcome individuals, friends, and families to come together for an evening of creativity, nature, and wellness.

Why Geodes?
A geode can appear ordinary from the outside, yet hold something beautiful within.
Crack, Ground & Grow invites us to use that simple discovery as an opportunity to slow down and reflect: we don't always see what is beneath the surface right away—and sometimes, discovery simply requires us to pause, look closer, and make space for what emerges.
Come crack open something new, get grounded in the present moment, and grow from within.

What to Bring-
What to Wear & Bring
Comfortable Clothing
Dress in layers and choose clothing that allows you to move comfortably and freely. Soft, breathable fabrics and weather-appropriate layers are recommended as temperatures may cool during the evening. Consider bringing a light jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt for added warmth as we transition into twilight.Supportive Footwear
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes that provide support and stability for walking outdoors. Sneakers, walking shoes, or trail shoes with good traction are recommended, as paths may include uneven terrain, natural surfaces, grass, or gentle inclines. -
Refillable Water Bottles: Supporting Wellness & Environmental Awareness
As we reconnect with nature, we also recognize our role in caring for the environment around us. We encourage participants to bring a refillable water bottle as a simple way to support sustainability, reduce single-use plastic waste, and practice mindful conservation.
Small choices, like choosing reusable items, help protect natural spaces and preserve the beauty of the outdoors for future generations. Staying hydrated while walking also supports your personal wellness, allowing you to remain present, energized, and connected throughout the experience.
Together, we can take steps toward a healthier relationship with ourselves and the planet we call home.
-
Bug Protection & Outdoor Awareness
As we enjoy the beauty of nature during our Twilight Walk, we encourage participants to consider bringing bug spray or other personal insect protection. While portions of our experience will take place along the Skywalk, we will also spend time outdoors in natural areas, including grassy spaces where insects may be present.
Because we are gathering in a nature-based environment, there is a possibility of encountering mosquitoes, ticks, and other outdoor insects, especially during evening hours. Applying bug spray before and during the event, as needed, can help support your comfort and allow you to stay present during the experience.
We encourage participants to check for ticks after spending time outdoors and to wear clothing that provides comfort and protection, such as long pants or layers if desired. Taking simple precautions allows us to safely enjoy the healing and restorative benefits of connecting with nature.
-
Light Source & Evening Safety
As our Twilight Walk takes place during the transition from daylight into evening, we encourage participants to bring a personal light source, such as a flashlight, headlamp, or phone light, for added comfort and safety. While we will provide glow sticks as a fun and mindful way to illuminate our path and enhance the experience, they are not intended to replace a personal light source.
Having your own light allows you to feel more confident while navigating outdoor spaces, uneven terrain, grassy areas, and walking paths as natural light decreases. A small flashlight or headlamp can also support awareness of your surroundings while helping you remain present and connected during your experience.
Together, we will use light as both a practical tool for safety and a meaningful reminder of our connection to nature, community, and the moments of transition that occur during twilight.

What Makes Rooted & Rising Wellness Different?
Bringing Nature Into the Mental Health & Wellness Experience
Rooted & Rising Wellness was created from the belief that healing and growth do not only happen inside four walls. While traditional mental health services provide valuable support, we recognize that our nervous systems are constantly responding to the environments around us. Nature offers a unique space for slowing down, reconnecting, and creating opportunities for reflection, regulation, and restoration.
Our approach brings together evidence-informed wellness practices with the restorative power of the natural world. Through guided nature experiences, mindfulness practices, psychoeducation, and community connection, we help individuals step away from the pace of daily life and reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.
Nature is not simply the setting for our programs. It is an active part of the experience.
Research continues to highlight the benefits of spending time in natural environments, including reduced stress, improved mood, increased attention, and greater emotional regulation. By incorporating practices such as mindfulness, grounding, breath awareness, and nervous system education into outdoor experiences, Rooted & Rising Wellness creates opportunities for people to understand themselves while reconnecting with the world around them.
We bridge the gap between mental health education and nature-based wellness by creating accessible experiences that support:
• Greater self-awareness and emotional understanding
• Nervous system regulation and stress reduction
• Mindfulness and present-moment connection
• Resilience-building skills
• Community connection and belonging
• A deeper relationship with nature and ourselvesRooted & Rising Wellness is not therapy in the outdoors. It is a psychoeducational and wellness experience designed to help individuals build awareness, develop practical tools, and create healthier patterns through the powerful connection between mind, body, and nature. How can I contact you?
